Illustrations I created for Year 6 pupils to paint and decorate as part of a final community artwork, responding to the museum’s school’s engagement project.

‘George’s Big Idea’ for Head of Steam Railway Museum, Darlington
I was commissioned to illustrate the pages of a picture book, telling the story of George Stephenson and the creation of the first passenger railway in Darlington, County Durham. Working with a local Storyteller, I created illustrations to be used in local schools and within the museum.
‘Museum of Kindness’ for Tees Valley Museums
An illustration and animation I created for Tees Valley Museums to advertise their ‘Museum of Kindness’ online family resource.
History Dioramas
Created as part of a university project, these are three ‘build-your-own’ dioramas, teaching children about influential figures from the Victorian era.
King’s Cross / St Pancras Sticker Books
Created as part of a university project, I came up with the idea of these small sticker panorama books as a way to engage families of young children with two London stations - King’s Cross and St Pancras.
Using reportage illustrations I drew within both stations, I created two sticker books that open out into a panorama scene of the station concourse, folding to an A7 size that is perfect to fit inside a child’s pocket. The books include some information about the stations themselves, and encourage children to observe the hussle and bussle around them.
